My life has been a journey of learning, questioning, exploring, and discovering what it means to live with greater awareness, purpose, and connection.
Over the years, my path has taken me through education, wellness, meditation, personal growth, and the study of various spiritual traditions and religions. I’ve always been curious about the deeper questions of life: Who are we? What gives our lives meaning? How do we find peace, navigate change, and understand our place in the world?
I’ve explored many perspectives, listened to different teachings, and remained open to learning from the experiences and wisdom of others. That journey has taught me to approach people with curiosity rather than judgment, and to recognize that each person’s path is uniquely their own.
Today, my own spiritual journey has brought me to a deeper relationship with God through Jesus Christ. My understanding continues to grow as I explore what it means to live through Christ, not simply as an idea or a set of beliefs, but as a relationship that shapes how I see life, love others, and move through the world.
This is where I find myself today, while recognizing that we are all continually learning, growing, and discovering.
I share this part of my story because it is an honest reflection of who I am—not because I believe everyone needs to arrive at the same place.
Why I Created Sisters in Presence
Somewhere along the way, I began to feel drawn to creating a space where women could come together beyond the roles they fill, the responsibilities they carry, and the expectations they place upon themselves.
A space where we could talk about the things that matter, ask questions without fear of judgment, share our experiences, explore new perspectives, and rediscover parts of ourselves that sometimes get lost in the busyness of life.
I believe there is something beautiful about women gathering with an openness to one another. We don’t have to agree on everything. We don’t have to share the same history, worldview, or spiritual beliefs to listen, learn, laugh, and find common ground.
Sometimes the most meaningful moments happen when we allow ourselves to be curious about someone else’s experience rather than trying to change it.
I created Sisters in Presence to connect, reflect and celebrate together as women.
A Place for Every Woman
Sisters in Presence welcomes women from all backgrounds, faiths, spiritual traditions, and walks of life—including women who don’t identify with any religion or spiritual path.
My personal relationship with Christ is an important part of my life, and I want to be authentic about that. At the same time, this community is not about asking anyone to believe what I believe. It is about creating room for honest expression, thoughtful reflection, meaningful conversation, and genuine human connection.
You are welcome to bring your questions, your convictions, your uncertainties, your experiences, and your whole self.
You don’t have to have life figured out. You don’t have to agree with me or anyone else. And you never have to pretend to be someone you’re not.
You simply have to be willing to show up with openness and respect for yourself and the women around you.
The Beauty of Being Together
To me, presence means being willing to meet ourselves and one another where we are.
It can look like putting our thoughts on paper, sharing a story, listening to another woman’s perspective, laughing over something unexpected, or sitting with a question we haven’t yet answered.
It can mean celebrating who we are today while remaining open to who we may become.
My hope is that Sisters in Presence becomes a place where women feel comfortable being real, exploring their own lives, and discovering the richness that comes from connecting with others.
Not a place where we are told who to be, but a place where we have room to discover.
I’m grateful you’re here, and I’d love for you to be part of it.
In gratitude,
Teressa
